The Vienna Circle is connected to the Department of Philosophy and is another institute that the VDS-Phil has a close collaboration with. 

The FWF-funded project "Forms of Normativity - Transitions and Intersections" (FoNTI) employs ten PhD-researchers approaching the broad topic of normativity in an unique and novel way. The internationally selected researchers are geared towards research at the intersections between established subfields in normativity research.

The research association Vienna Cognitive Science Hub is an interdisciplinary network of researchers in Cognitive Science and Neuroscience. The CogSciHub is connected to the Department of Philosophy and is another institute that the VDS-P has a close collaboration with.

The research network "Gender and Agency" aims at bringing together scientists at the University of Vienna with a focus on gender studies. Spokesperson is Elisabeth Holzleithner, a legal philosopher.
