The VDP provides tailored training for doctoral researchers to develop the skills necessary to write a dissertation and become an independent researcher. This service complements the general training provided by the Center for Doctoral Studies.  

Effective time management is critical to the completion of doctoral studies. For this reason, the training is not mandatory. Researchers should consult with their supervisors about which training(s) and activities to enroll in.
